Origins of the Jazz Club
Hotel Casa Fuster was chosen by Woody Allen as one of the locations for the filming of his Oscar-winning film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Moreover, the director of films such as Annie Hall and Manhattan frequently joined two prominent members of his “Woody Allen New Orleans Jazz Band”—Eddy Davis and Conal Fowkes—to recreate the atmosphere of the finest New York jazz at the Café Vienés within the Hotel Casa Fuster 5* G.L. Monumento. These performances took place during the summer of filming in 2007, to the delight of locals and tourists alike on Passeig de Gràcia./p>
