Café Vienés

Following the building’s restoration in 2004, “Café Vienés” was returned to its former glory as a historic meeting place for famous intellectual gatherings (tertulias), having once brought together such representative figures as the poet Salvador Espriu.

Today, it preserves its character and spirit as a meeting point for hotel guests, artists, intellectuals, and Barcelona locals seeking a quiet and unique spot.

It is a space of significant architectural interest due to its large windows facing Paseo de Gracia, which flood the Modernist-style columns, arches, and capitals with light, creating an interplay of colour and light.
